0 repliesmy mum only gave me 20 bucks for my lil trip to pulau ubin with ppl from breeks! tat is so little! and the f-ing thing is that i left my ez-link at home so i couldn top it up before heading to changi. i only agreed to go cos i tot a lot would be coming and of course,i finally had the money. but it turned out that only sir johnson, shahril, terry izzati and her bf, yus, went. to do wat? fishing! goodness. i tot they'll at least cycle a lil but no, the fishing area was far so we had to take the van for our own convinience.
y am i so fussed up bout fishing? firstly, i didn noe how to. secondly, it requires lots of patience. thirdly, while waiting i wouldn have anything to do cos i only brought the necessties.
i was kinda ok with the fishing idea at first cos i wanted to try but i failed. the line always goes elsewhere. so i gave up after 2 tries cos the first one got stuck to rocks and hence, my dear fren lost his 'weight'?! i dunno wat u call them. so i spent the rest of the 6 hrs there idling; walking from one rod to another, drinking other ppl's drinks. it was so boring! furthermore, there wasn any comfy shelter arnd so i had a tan, again. (jus a few days before returning back to hsc. why does tis always happen to me!)
the only excitement i got was when they really caught a fish. izzati apparently, attracts lots of puffer fish. at least 5 of them. i only helped to open the net to keep the caught fishes in side. how pathetic.
but a few hrs before we left the place, i got distracted by the 3 students(the only other ppl at our bridge) when they sorta led a team of 4 kayak-ers to cross the bridge. the boys were hott! after them, there were other teams who came to cross the bridge too. apparently, there was a competition. it seemed more fun than fishing. how i hope i could canoe/kayak then!
haiz...newaez, i came across smth funny/weird on the news. they were saying that the world toilet organisation is gonna open the first world toilet college here in singapore! wow! i'm not wow-ing at the fact that they first college is opening here, i'm wow-ing more on the fact that there will be such a college. who knew that there was a world toilet organisation? wow rite? but then again, i saw the founder of the organisation. he is chinese. wat does tat mean? it was probably founded by one of our locals here who has gone loca(crazy). ok. maybe he isn't crazy, but i doubt ppl from other countries, the US maybe wouldn even noe bout him. i was expecting it to be founded by a German. no wonder that first college of such kind is opening here.
but watever it is, toilet cleaners are human beings still. treat them with respect. and their jobs is to help you be comfortable while doing business. help them to help(serve) you better. i have no qualms bout putting my occupation as one in my friendster profile. =D
