here's the thing, I came back to school to excel. simply said.
netball: the first week was a time for observation and a little on ice-breaking. the team was a group with no communication and lack of enthusiasm for the game. no one encourages, but some were screaming at others. i told Captain Naz that there was smth missing from her team and she quickly agreed that they lack teamwork. all i told her was to have a meeting for all to sit and discuss on their ideas for the SLA(cca fiesta) and on their strengths and weaknesses as a team and individuals. I predicted there was gonna be tears as usual of a team talk but tat was what the team needs before heading on to any competitions.
2 weeks the talk postponed due to lack of time and bad attendance of players. i had a very bad resource who was criticising some ppl, but i didnt noe it was totally unjustified cos she judged them on a personal basis only.
finally when the team talk was possible, not everyone spoke their hearts out. tis was not what i was hoping for cos in the end, the team cannot proceed on and i believe very much in this. and honestly, i was shocked nobody sent me a hate mail during the talk. suddenly everyone was nice to me though i feel they felt threatened of their positions in the committee. nothing for them to worry of. but if they're willing, i can give them a gd fight to it.
fitness: i NEED my fitness back. i realised during my first trg that i have no problem with my speed, its still intact. but boy, my stamina was going downhill way too fast. my plans was to have mon, wed, fri taken up by team trg with Rp and Avalanche. tues and/or thurs would be for gym sessions. pardon me for being outdated, i studied on cardiorespiratory exercise and then started to have one for my preparation for the competitions. long jogs with short runs on the sch threadmill. it seemed ok last week, but its still not gd.
school: i can't be more excited to study in RP ever since i got the transfer & truly, i love sch now cos of my interesting lessons, classes & facilitators. But i alr had the mindset way before sch started to achieve the best that there is. Aim high, & so said by Mr Max. i'm pushing myself for the daily grades & i noe the simple trick to it-participate, confidence during presentations & reflective RJs, not those short ones i used to do during yr 1. So far i'm getting a lot of Bs, a few As & a C and D for Anatomy(graded by relief facis!). I don't do boot-licking but i'ld rather have a friendly relationship with my facis with respect still, of course. & really i LOVE prescription & nutrition! i seem quite enthusiastic bout my lessons with all the application & stuff and i think some of my frens kinda feel irritated by it somehow. heh
