that's how my holidays ended.
my extremely gifted second cousin got hitched on saturday afternoon.
apparently, this genius has been with her indonesian-boyish-looking hubby since JC.
I had no idea she had time for boyfriends. oh well, minus the s i added in the last line.
she's super lucky to have found such a person who also shares a great mind (they studied in RJC & then took their masters or pHd in melbourne together).
yup, she's the cousin who's got 20k as dowry la! WOAAHHH!!!
it was a simple occassion at her parents' new place in taman bedok with close friends & relatives.
'kristen kreuk' got many of the guys talking.
but guess who got to chat her up?!

well, i'm just waiting for the wedding reception at Tepak Sireh in december.
for once, i'll be able to sit down and enjoy a relative's wedding. heh

20 on saturday & i'm so sorry to not meet u up tat day
my cousin passed away on sunday morning
i was too shocked to fathom what would happen after that
he & his younger sister have been born with special needs
& he became his mum's best friend for his whole 18 years since he was always by her side
i have always been amazed at my aunt's courage to take care of her 2 children
and even though i may not know her well since she's been taken care by an adopted family
it was evident that she loves him so much that it was tough for her to let go
& yes, i went for his funeral procession
the first muslim one in many many years because i have always been scared
but after reading tuesdays with morrie, i understood that it was part of life
pain and death, issues many choose to avoid
well, you're welcome to talk about death with me now, in a good way of course
