0 repliesi've always looked forward to family gatherings especially with those on my mum's side & we just had one last saturday at my granny's house to break fast together. i wasn't really expecting everyone to turn up but only few wasn't there. & favourite uncle Sany wasn't around since he was on flight.
STILL, IT WAS FUN, FUN, FUN!
us cousins were eating on the floor in the living room while the adults took the dining table in the kitchen. it was pot luck & since the many different gravy was on the table, we had my favourite first; Cik Yah's sup tulang! I haven't had them for a very long time so it was really refreshing. but we made sure our tummies had space for second rounds and for other food of course! so the 'main' dinner ended at around 8. but knowing me, i was munching most of the time. & we all had royal's truffle cake (again) for Abg Mahadir's bdae. but i made sure i had space for my granny's Lopis during 'last order' at 9.30. HAHAHA!
the younger ones were tearing the house down with all the noise that they were making while chasing each other all around the house. but it kinda gave me some comfort deep inside.
& we had chances of making fun of cheesy lil Rayn who was always eyeing the beautiful wife of my bdae cousin. he was happily flashing himself bottomless to me & my 2nd sis after getting his diapers off but he became embarrased when all my cousins made fun of him. his facial expression changed dramatically and said sadly to his mum, "Rayn nak balik". MUAHAHAHA! Joke of the day lor!
the party carried on at a ktv room in Kampong Chai Chee CC as a celebration for my cousin, but only the cousins went since there wasn't enough cars to bring the adults. HAHA. we started out with duets. then my chubby cousin, fauzi, did a bit of striptease while singing a rock song! it was HILARIOUS! the best part was when we tried to pull a prank to the youngest cousin there by choosing a Raihan song, 25 Rasul (25 prophets). the biggest joker among us, khairul, took the mic to help introduce shiddiq with the song as we waited for the lyrics to appear on the screen. what came out was in JAWI & that cracked everyone up instantly! ironically, we played lady marmalade after that we everyone just stood & danced; on the sofa, on the ground, wherever! we had so much fun and made so much noise on the way out, i think we woke some in the neighbourhood since it was 2am then!
It was so much fun that we're gonna have another session again this friday. but kak hani will give us a treat this time around and it'll be in town instead. YAY!
